Martin Ringer Consulting Ltd is a socio-systemic management consulting business.

The aim of my business is to

"Collaborate with clients to enhance collective effort, and hence to improve both productivity and satisfaction in the workplace."

Martin Ringer Consulting ltd is a management consulting and leadership development company with bases in New Zealand, France and Australia. The Director, Martin Ringer, BE (Hons), M.Ed.(Member ISPSO - International Society for the Psychoanalytic Study of Organizations), has operated his own independent management consulting and training & development business for 15 years. The business operated from Perth, Western Australia for nine years before moving to Auckland, New Zealand in 2000. Since 2004 increasing international business led to the establishment of a base in France and the re-opening of a base in Australia. The consulting business is a small, specialized enterprise with a significant strength in working with complex overt and covert issues in corporate settings. All engagements with clients are established on the understanding that organizations are complex dynamic and unpredictable enterprises that defy the full understanding of any one person. The company specializes in collaborating in-depth with clients to explore the subtleties of the issues that need to be addressed, whilst at the same time, honoring the need for organizations to limit the amount of time and money they expend with consultants. Successful outcomes are achieved not with the competence of the consultants alone, but with committed and robust collaboration between consultant and client.

The principal, Martin Ringer, has experience as a manager, trainer and consultant both in the public and private sector as well as ten years experience as a part time university lecturer in group process. Martin has run training groups and consultancy projects in many countries including Australia, New Zealand, the USA, England, the Netherlands Ireland, Germany, Japan, Finland, Turkey, South Africa and the UK.  He has presented dozens of keynote speeches and over forty workshops on working with groups and experiential learning at international conferences. More than a dozen of his articles on groups, experiential learning and organisational culture have appeared in international publications, and many more articles have been published in Australia. His book "Group Action:.."  which describes the dynamics of teams and groups was published in 2002. Martin is currently on the editorial boards of two international journals and an Australian journal. In 1997 he completed research for his Masters degree on training of group leaders and facilitators and he is now involved in research on the quality of collective thinking in workplace teams.
